"NOTE! Due to poor track conditions resulting from lack of snow, the Mushers Bowl dog sled races have been rescheduled to February 18-19, 2012 at the same advertised location of Five Field Farms at the same times.  Dog sled rides, however, will still be held along with other Winter Carnival Activities on Jan. 21-22 as listed.  Rides do not require stringent racing conditions as the races.  All other listed activities will be held as planned except snowmobile trail rides.  Again, there will be snowmobile rides on the lake. "

“Mush!” “Hike!” “Haw!” “Gee!” “Easy!” Learn these commands and maybe you can go MUSHING (dog sled riding) or Skijoring (cross country skiing by a dog team). Or maybe you could just go along for the ride while the Mushers drive their dogs. Reserve your place on a dog sled or on the observation decks at the 2012 Musher's Bowl Winter Carnival. Make your reservation for a sled ride or buy a button to see it all January 21-22, 2012. The 20 minute Dog Sled ride makes a great Holiday gift. Reservations are recommended and can be made by telephone to Chamber office with credit cards.

Snowmobile rides are also available—quick trips up the lake (donation suggested) or 20 minute trail rides for $25. Helmets are provided. Again reservations can be made by telephone to Chamber office.

But that is not all…this is a winter carnival with horse drawn carriage rides, ice skating, snow shoeing. Ice fishing, winter dance, public breakfasts, lunches, and suppers and a hold host of activities for old and young. “Show Your Button” receive special promotions at participating businesses.
